About Us
The Egyptian Society of Dermatology and Venereology (ESDV)
was founded by the year 1940, as a member of the Egyptian Medical Association. By
the year 2003, it was announced as a distinct society. It serves the community of
dermatology specialists allover Egypt. It publishes a peer reviewed journal ; The
Egyptian Journal of Dermatology and Andrology the is issued quarterly by the months,
January, Mars, June and September. We have an annual conference in the winter time,
and another summer that takes place by the second half of July in one of the seashore
cities as Port Saeed. The mailing address of the society is 56 A Mansour Street,
Bab-Ellouk, Cairo, Egypt. The Board of directors consist of 15 dermatologist.
The President of the Society is Professor
Mohsen M Soliman, Professor of Dermatology, Cairo University. The Secretary
General of the Society is Professor Hazem Sif El-Nasr, Professor of Dermatology,
Cairo University. The treasurer of the Society is Dr. Ahmed Raoof Abdelaziz, Dermatology
Specialist in Cairo Clinic of Skin Diseases.
